Urban League of Atlanta Young Professionals

Thank you for your interest in applying for the 2025 Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals (ULGA-YP) Dreamcatchers Scholarship!

ULGA-YP is the young professional auxiliary to the Urban League of Greater Atlanta (ULGA), a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to support the National Urban League movement through volunteerism, philanthropy, and membership development. We accomplish this by supporting our local affiliate, The Urban League of Greater Atlanta, providing a forum for the development of young professionals and engagement of Atlanta’s youth.  

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be a high school senior graduating in the Class of 2025, currently enrolled in the Urban League of Greater Atlanta’s Project Ready program
• Be currently enrolled at a high school in the Metro Atlanta, GA area during the 2024-2025 academic year
• Attend the 14th Annual Dream Catchers Scholarship & Awards Reception on Friday, May 30, 2025 *Attendance is required to receive the award
• Demonstrate a high level of leadership and/or service
• Exhibit the pillars of the National Urban League and our mission of Empowering Communities, Changing lives

*Top 2 Finalist Awarded:

*Subject to change at the sole discretion of the ULGA-YP Scholarship Committee. 

• $2,500 each

• Friday, March 14, 2024 – Scholarship Applications Open
• Friday, April 18, 2024 – Scholarship Applications Close
• Monday, April 28, 2024 – Scholarship Winners Notified
• Friday, May 30, 2024 – 14th Annual Dream Catchers Scholarship & Award Reception

2025 DREAMCATCHERS Young Entrepreneur Mini-Grant

Thank you for your interest in applying for the 2025 Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals (ULGA-YP) Dreamcatchers Young Entrepreneur Mini Grant Award!

The Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals (ULGA-YP) is awarding mini grants (of $2500) to young entrepreneurs in the Atlanta Metropolitan area as part of the 14th Annual Dream Catchers Scholarship & Awards Reception. These grants are designed to support young adults with their entrepreneurial journey.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Must be a current participant in the ULGA’s Young CEOs Program or an alumni
• Attend the 14th Annual Dream Catchers Scholarship & Awards Reception on Friday, May 30, 2025 (attendance is required to receive the award).
• Demonstrate a high level of leadership and/or service 
• Exhibit the pillars of the National Urban League and our mission of Empowering Communities, Changing lives. 
• Must reside in the Atlanta Metropolitan area
• Grant awardees must complete a post survey one month after receiving funds
