Urban League of Atlanta Young Professionals

Thank you for your interest in applying for the 2024 Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals (ULGA-YP) Dreamcatchers Scholarship!

ULGA-YP is the young professional auxiliary to the Urban League of Greater Atlanta (ULGA), a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to support the National Urban League movement through volunteerism, philanthropy, and membership development. We accomplish this by supporting our local affiliate, The Urban League of Greater Atlanta, providing a forum for the development of young professionals and engagement of Atlanta’s youth.  

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be in the high school graduating Class of 2024 or a currently enrolled first-time undergraduate seeking student
• Attend a high school or college/university in the Metro Atlanta, GA area for the 2023-2024 academic year
• Plan to attend an accredited college/university for the Fall 2024 term
• Be African-American/Black
• Qualified applicants must commit to evening attendance at the 13th Annual Dream Catchers Scholarship & Award Reception on Friday, May 31, 2024

*Top 3 Finalist Awarded:

*Subject to change at the sole discretion of the ULGA-YP Scholarship Committee.

Scholarship Timeline

• Friday, March 8, 2024 – Scholarship Applications Open
• Friday, April 19, 2024 – Scholarship Applications Close
• Monday, April 29, 2024 – Scholarship Winners Notified
• Friday, May 31, 2024 – 13th Annual Dream Catchers Scholarship & Award Reception
