NULYP National Day of Service
ULGA-YP has participated in the National Urban League Young Professionals (NULYP) National Day of Service for the last five years, providing financial education seminars to teens in Atlanta Public Schools. ULGA-YP partners with Atlanta Public Schools, local churches and community centers for this program, to facilitate middle and high school students.

Super Saturday – A Day of Political Awareness
ULGA-YP first hosted this event in 2006 to educate aspiring leaders and constituents on how to better align themselves with the political landscape. Legislators and community activists from all over the metropolitan area volunteered time and other resources to providing tips on communicating with elected officials and constituents, fundraising, and pitching the media.

Dream Catchers Awards Reception
Each year, ULGA YP and sponsors recognize businesses, organizations and individuals excelling as advocates in the following areas:
- Community Leadership
Winners in each category are presented with the signature Dream Catchers Award. We also take this opportunity to recognize several lucky high school graduates with scholarships. A much-anticipated event of the Atlanta summer social season; Dream Catchers can be your opportunity to help us provide deserving students with funds for college.

Entrepreneur Boot Camp
In step with the National Urban League’s commitment to economic empowerment, the ULGA Young Professionals host the annual Entrepreneur Boot Camp (EBC).
Conference participants will receive guidance and training from key leaders in the metro Atlanta business community and attend workshop sessions on the various aspects of business ownership including business plan development, legal considerations, and marketing. This dynamic event helps equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools needed to conceive, launch, and grow a profitable business. Topics included:
